Scotland came from behind to beat Italy 29-27 in a gripping Six Nations contest at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Both teams scored two tries apiece in a fast-paced first half which ended 17-12 in the host's favour. Italy's lead was extended after the break thanks to a second try from man-of-the-match Tommaso Allan. However, Scotland fought back and took the lead through tries from Sean Maitland and Stuart Hogg. The lead changed hands twice during the final minutes as Tommaso Allan first struck a penalty for Italy, before Greig Laidlaw struck the decisive penalty for Scotland.
