Scotland and England will do battle for the Calcutta Cup when they meet at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh on Saturday 14th February during the second round of the 2026 Six Nations Championship.
England reclaimed the Calcutta Cup for the first time in five years with a narrow 16-15 victory over Scotland at Twickenham during the 2025 Championship.
Scotland and England played the first ever international rugby match in 1871. Since then, they have contested a total of 143 rugby test matches against each other. England have won 77 of those matches, whilst Scotland have won 47 matches. There have also been 19 drawn matches between the two nations.
