Scotland ended England's year-long winning streak with a 31-20 Calcutta Cup victory at Murrayfield. The hosts raced into an early lead with tries from Huw Jones and Jamie Ritchie, along with pinpoint kicking from Finn Russell. England responded with a Henry Arundell try midway through the first half, but Ben White's score ensured Scotland led 24-10 at half-time. England's task became even harder when Arundell was dismissed just before the break after receiving a second yellow card. George Ford opened the second-half scoring with a penalty as England looked to close the gap. But Ford then saw a drop-goal attempt charged down, and Jones raced away to score his second and Scotland's fourth try.
