Scotland claimed a third successive Calcutta Cup victory with a 29-23 win over England at Twickenham. The visitors were first to score with Huw Jones running onto a Sione Tuipulotu grubber kick. England replied 10 minutes later when a crossfield kick from Marcus Smith was touched down by Max Malins. Duhan van der Merwe then scored a sensational Scotland try as he beat five tacklers from halfway. Malins bagged a second try just before half-time. Owen Farrell missed the ensuing conversion, but kicked a penalty a few minutes later to give England a 13-12 half-time lead. The home side extended their lead early in the second half when Ellis Genge powered over the line from close range. Moments later, Ben White broke loose to score Scotland's third try and bring them back within a point. Farrell and Russell then traded penalty kicks as the match edged towards a close finish.
