England demolished an injury-hit Scotland side to win the Calcutta Cup and retain the Six Nations title with a 61-21 victory at Twickenham. England got off to an explosive start, which saw them 20-0 up after 25 minutes with Jonathan Joseph scoring two first-half tries. Scotland meanwhile were struggling with injuries, which forced Stuart Hogg and his replacement Mark Bennett off the field. Scotland got some points on the board through a Gordon Reid try in the 29th minute, but further scores from England gave them a 30-7 half-time lead. After the break, Jonathan Joseph quickly completed his hat-trick and gave England a 4-try bonus point in the process. Further tries from Billy Vunipola and Danny Care ensured that England ran away with the scoreboard.
